EASA’s membership consists of self-regulatory organisations and since 2001 also of industry organisations supportive of advertising self-regulation. These members are represented throughout the main EASA structure on a 50/50 basis.
SROs and corresponding members
Currently 34 self-regulatory bodies (SRO's) are in EASA membership. 26 of these are from 24 European countries and the other eight are from non-European countries. EASA inherently is a European association. However, as advertising issues are becoming more and more global EASA has set up an International Council to discuss and respond to these issues.
Industry members
EASA also has 16 industry members which can be subdivided under Advertisers, Agencies, Media and others.
